Great monitoring features in a compact design

I started using personal health monitoring devices years ago, specifically with a smartwatch, and really liked the ability to track my health metrics throughout the day without having to think about it. The problem I had, however, was that I had to charge my watch every night, which meant it could not track my sleep. That problem has now been solved with my Oura Ring!
To begin, ensuring you have the right size ring is important. I would recommend actually going into a store to use their sizing rings and ensure a proper fit (although, I believe there is also a fitting kit that can be ordered and delivered to you if there are no Best Buy stores conveniently located by you).
The ring does have a few options in terms of color and shape/finishing (round versus some flat/angled features). Personally, I swapped out my wedding ring and now wear my Oura Ring on my ring finger in place of my wedding ring. The ring is light (as opposed to a metal ring), but it is also surprisingly robust in terms of durability. The gloss finish has not dulled in the month or so since I have had the ring, nor has it suffered any scuffs, scratches, or other damage despite the fact that I wear the ring 24/7. Personally, I kind of wish they had a matte (versus glossy) option, but what can you do?
As far as battery life is concerned, I have no complaints. Oura recommends charing the ring every four days (or so) for about 20-30 minutes at a crack. That will not necessarily charge the ring to 100%, but it should keep it within that 70-80% range. Personally, I have found it relatively easy to find a few hours every few days to charge it completely. The one complaint I would have is that it must be charged on a proprietary stand. Being able to set the ring down on a Qi charging pad would have been really nice. Instead, when traveling, I now need to carry an extra charging device for the ring. luckily, though, the pad is relatively small (maybe only about one-inch square or so).
The ring connects seamlessly to the Oura app on a smartphone and it provides ratings for your "readiness," sleep, activity, heart rate, and stress. The thing I really like is that it then tracks these items in the background and provides trending data. Having that functionality, however, does require a subscription (which is something that is not required with my smartwatch), so that is a bit annoying.
Overall, though, the ring fits well, it is comfortable, has good battery life, and helps me track my sleep as well as other activity (as promised). I am happy with the purchase.

Failed Completely After About a Month

I reviewed this laptop before and considered it to be a pretty decent machine for the money considering its speed and processing limitations. So long as you are sticking with web browsing, social media, streaming video, email, and productivity applications, it is a rather simple and affordable solution.
That was before the entire thing died, would not charge, and would not boot up after having it for only about a month. While it was fixed by Dell because it was under warranty, that process took a full two weeks because parts to fix the computer were not in stock. Ultimately, they had to replace the entire main board, which also meant everything on the laptop was completely wiped out. Luckily, I did not have anything important on the laptop, so no big deal. If that were not the case and I did not have a backup, I would have been completely out of luck because there would have been no way for me to perform such a backup (either to the cloud or locally) once the unit failed as it did (again, after only about a month).
Maybe my experience was unique, but I have owned other relatively inexpensive laptops with similar functionality that never failed. As a result, this is not a unit I would recommend to anyone. Look elsewhere...

Very simple and no-frills. It does the job of mounting a flat screen television in a stationary (non-moveable/non-adjustable) position on a wall. When mounting a large television, however, the proximity to the wall can be a challenge as there is no space behind the brackets to allow for much access. You may want to hook up cables and power first before hanging the television (which is definitely a two (maybe even three) person job with large televisions.

I purchased this subwoofer to go with a Sennheiser AMBEO sound bar and am very satisfied with the purchase. I read a few reviews that were somewhat critical of this speaker, but that has not been my experience. It delivers good bass without being overwhelming. When paired with my soundbar, it really helps round out the listening experience. Setup is relatively simple as there are only two inputs, one of which was the power cord (the other is a single RCA plug).

I really like my eero Mesh system. I have a somewhat large house (two-story with a basement) and a single wireless router wasn't cutting it and relays or separate access points were problematic to setup and maintain. The setup on these was simple and the coverage provided by the three units covers my entire house (and even some of my backyard). The biggest issue I have is that, if you want their integrated security suite and other related features, you must purchase an annual subscription. The smartphone app is intuitive and easy to use as well.

It has been a while since I purchased a receiver, but I needed one that included a 4K passthrough. This receiver really impressed me with the on-screen setup features, the integrated smartphone app, the sound quality, and the ability to seamlessly work with my television and my Apple TV. Admittedly, this receiver has more features than I will actually ever use. If you have a big format 4K (or even 8K) television and want great audio to match, this is definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Awesome Television, Feature Rich, Great Picture

We purchased this television to replace a smaller, non-4K television. Simply stated, I was blown away with the picture when watching 4K movies through my Apple TV. The extra real estate from my previous television really made a big difference as well. I was able to purchase the TV on sale and, while I never heard of Hisense before, must admit that I am very impressed. While it is a smart TV, I do not use any of those features (having everything go through my Apple TV). With that being said, this television interfaces seamlessly with my Apple TV and my Denon receiver. No need for multiple remote controls anymore!!!
Because I run everything through a receiver, I have no opinion as to the sound quality of the television. If you are going to have such a large TV, though, I would strongly encourage you to have an audio receiver and surround speakers (or, at the least, a decent soundbar).

Purchased this television on a whim given that it was about 50% off and am incredibly impressed with its features, functionality, and picture quality. I use this television with an Apple TV and it supports 4K and HDR for incredible picture quality. The television is a smart Fire TV that also incorporates numerous apps. One frustration, however, is that it does not appear to have a Spectrum app available, so I am still tethered to my Apple TV (which is okay because I can turn the TV on and off through my Apple TV). The TV is also AirPlay compatible, which is pretty slick. One minor oddity is that there does not appear to be a setting for turning off the red light that comes on when the microphone is disabled. (I had to cover it with some electrical tape.) Overall, though, I am very happy with the purchase. Great picture quality and works well with my Apple TV, which is really all I care about.

"Inexpensive" Mac for simple tasks

If you are looking for a simple, "inexpensive" Mac, this unit fits the bill. It has Apple's M1 chip, which is pretty fast at most tasks and the internal storage is fast (SSD). With that being said, 256 GB is pretty paltry for storage on a desktop unit, as is 8 GB of RAM. Keep in mind that this a a BYOD (bring your own device) unit in that you will need to provide your own monitor, keyboard, and mouse/trackpad. For simple tasks, like browsing the Internet, checking email, and working in office applications (like spreadsheets and word processors), this unit is probably all you need, though (as long as internal storage is not a necessity). There are a few USB and Thunderbolt ports, which do provided for some expandability.

If not for the add-on code that came with the case, I am not sure I would see the value in purchasing an extra SteelBook case as the game comes with a traditional plastic case for holding the CD (which works just fine for me).

Do they make a version of this keyboard where the special keys !@#$%^&*() and so forth are also backlit?
I do not believe so. (Looking at other reviews of this keyboard on other sites, it seems like this is a common complaint, and one that I share.) I did email Logitech to see if they sell other keycaps... I am waiting to hear back. One of the issues is that these keycaps are not Cherry MX compatible. As a result, I have not been able to find any other alternatives either. (I would be more than happy to purchase a different keycap set, but I have not been able to find any that work with these Logitech-centric switches.)
