Glorified Fan & Heater is what I would describe the Dyson HP04 Air Purifier. Through a lot of research I narrowed my purchase for our new air purifier to this Dyson, Honeywell, or Oreck.
I loved the idea the Dyson would inform me of the air quality as it purified… Well it basically gives you a green line to indicate the air quality is good. The air quality in our basement is not at a "green" level. For the price of the unit at $550.00 it is not worth the investment. Since the return on the Dyson we opted to purchase the Oreck air purifier as we had done over 10 years ago. Our original Oreck was not working after 10 years of good use. We had purchased two units for close to the price of one Dyson.
I love the Oreck system as it is very portable and has a rinsible filter... and I can smell fresh air in our basement. I have both units running throughout the night! Sorry, Dyson... we gave you a try!
