Over the years I’ve bought this wonderful film many times. This is about the 5th copy which I’m laughing at a little bit... “the 5th Copy”... Well, I’m not disappointed. I’ve only just recently began to upgrade my purchases to 4K and when this came on sale of course I couldn’t resist. This is one of only a films I can watch over and over and never get bored with it. The 4K here is excellent and only goes to make the brilliant production design pop even more which I thought was impossible. I highly recommend this film and this edition.

This director has made some film live action films and continues to develop a truly unique style and a singular vision in an otherwise glowingly homogenous medium. However, his animated films really are now some of the most interesting works ever produced. This is the latest in his remarkable filmography and a must have for the collection of any decerning film enthusiast.
