I can see where this product meets the needs of younger students who don't require much power to complete their work. However, for an avid computer user of 10 years, I can't say that this will replace your desktop at home. It is very strange to get used to changing computer settings through the Google Chrome browser. I ended up returning the device, but I have friends that love theirs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The code was a bit more difficult to reveal than on most of these scratch cards. However I did get the code and redeemed it very easily. Overall, I am happy with it. On the downside, this will NOT count as money in your Google Wallet when trying to purchase items in the physical world. Just a heads up to Google Wallet users.

It was very difficult to get the correct resolution, and when I did achieve it, the image was very laggy. There was at least a two second delay between what was being shown on my Chromebook and what was displayed on the television. I have a very efficient home network setup and even followed guides to reduce this lag, but it was unbearable in the end. The product itself is a very cool concept, but I was not personally won over by its performance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Lightweight, Easy to setup, Fairly easy to use.
What's not so great: Failed after only 3 months of ownership.
The tablet itself was light weight and was pretty straightforward during setup. It had a cool channel-changing ability built in, too. I really enjoyed using it to stream videos and otherwise watch videos online. The apps were just an added bonus. Despite the pros, the cons outweigh anything positive I could say about the device. For $180 I guess I shouldn't have expected a tablet made out of steel or something, but the cheap plastic it was made out of did not reassure me in case of accidental drops. After three months of ownership (and I took good care of it!) I attempted to boot the tab up and nothing was happening. Brought it to Best Buy and they covered it under my Geeksquad Protection.
This product is... responsive touch screen, Good sound quality, easy to set up, Variety of apps available, A nice compact size, Easy to navigate, Great screen size
About me... Budget Conscious, Student, Technology guru, Gamer, Business Professional
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can AOL be downloaded onto Chromebook?
The easiest way to answer this is: no. No standard pogroms can be downloaded onto this computer like they can be onto a Windows PC. The only "programs" that can be downloaded are extensions and apps from the Google Chrome store. I hope this helps!
