Big Flat and a Great Picture

I wanted a big 4K TV with High Dynamic Range and wide color gamut capabilities. The 78JS8600 is not as big as I wanted but choices are very limited in TV sets larger than 80" at least for under 10K.
In 2016 there is a flat Sony 85" and an a flat LG 86" for around 10K but they are IPS panels and don't have the deep blacks I was looking for.
Another Samsung was out there, the 2015 85JU7100 but it had very limited availability when I was shopping and it did not have Quantum Dots (wide color gamut.)
I am not a big fan of curved TVs. I don't really understand why Samsung insists on using curved screens on their flagship TVs. So the 78JS8600 was the logical choice. It is something of a special model and introduced in the fall of 2015. It was the only 78" flat model in the 2015 SUHD family. Unlike the JS8500 models which are very similar, it does not support 3D, a feature I did not need anyway. The new 2016 SUHDs TV just coming out also lack 3D. Apparently most people don't watch 3D at home and Samsung decided it could drop the feature with out loosing too many sales in 2016.
The 78JS8600 is bright with excellent color, good up scaling and deep blacks. The 78JS8600 is edge lit. I would prefer full array local dimming but in big Samsung that technology is reserved for the top of the line curved flagships. For most content the edge lighting of JS8600 works quite well providing good blacks and modest blooming.
It is not a perfect TV. The top and bottom edges show some minor light bleed on certain scenes. This is barely noticeable on the top but occasionally is distracting along the bottom. This never occurs on all white or black screen and it intrudes maybe 3/8 of an inch along the bottom bezel and perhaps 1/4" along the top. Most people would never notice it. Again, I want to emphasize that it not noticeable on most scenes.
Motion is good for an LCD the NBA Finals look great. The built-in Smart Apps are comprehensive and easy to. I have it hooked to a Denon X4200w with HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2. I have a PC running Windows Media Center for Comcast and it up scales my cable channels nicely to 4K. The Samsung accepts 4K 60P 444 content from my Nvidia Shield TV and and the Home Theater PC without drama.
The edge light bleed on the bottom keeps me from rating the 78JS8600 a 5 Star but considering I bought the set on end of model year closeout it was a great value. Just wish it was 85" as I sit 14 feet from the screen.
I want to give shout out to the Geek Squad the delivery and basic setup was on time and was a positive experience.

I really like the Tab S2 9.7". The resolution is high but not so high that extended use causes eye strain. The screen is very bright and clear. You have to just loved AMOLED screens. The bezel looks good but is too sharp on the edge and cuts in to your fingers. The battery life could be better but is tolerable at reasonable brightness levels. I gave a 5 score but I think 4.6 or so would be more realistic.

I really liked the form factor and the 16x9 aspect ratio. Unfortunately the very high resolution pixel per inch caused eye strain for my late middle age eyes. I ended up buying the new Tab S2 9.7" which is lower resolution but sadly a 4×3 aspect ratio. The super high res Tab S 8.0 would be great for most folks but for me it made the text too small for extended l reading.

What's great about it: It makes for a worry free install
What's not so great: You maybe throwig away perfectly good hoses
These hoses are first class. They were required for a Best Buy install of my new washer. Kind of a forced purchase as my old hoses were pristine and not more than maybe four years old. I understand why the Best Buy requires them but it sure is a profit builder for them. I think you should be able to just sign a waiver.

I purchased this to replace a much more expensive Whirlpool which was an awful design.
This is a better washer but when it was delivered and installed the drain hose was installed to deep into the drain which caused a suction lock which would drain the tub while filling it sometimes and sometimes not. The field service people discovered that was the problem. The service guy adjusted the hose and it seemed to work reliably for a couple of days.
Great I thought, but then the drain hose came out of the drain and flooded my laundry area. After adjusting the drain hose myself I have two weeks without a problem. The odd thing is that drain hose is rather small in diameter compare to the drain hoses on older machines. I would expect to be able to trust both Best Buy's installation and Whirlpools field service with something that seems so simple but alas, no.
The washer itself seems okay but the experience has left me with an unpleasant taste in my mouth.

What's great about it: Price, build quality clean, smooth and loud.
What's not so great: Lack of detail in the sound.
I picked these up on Black Friday weekend after a brief demo in my local Magnolia Home Theater listening room at nearly 50% off . They sounded great in the store. The came of as loud, clear, with good tonal balance. When I got them home those things were true but the speaker was not very high resolution and lacked detail. The sale price was great but the speakers did not sound like the $400 speakers they sell for at regular price. There are much better sounding speakers out there even at the sale price.

I gerally have had good luck with Pioneer. I tried all the premium headphones in the store that I coud. The 2000 stood out in sound quality, build quality and comfort, It was a Lexus even compared to the Senheisers. You knew as soon as you put in you head you had to buy it even if the list price meant you could buy PSB or other world class cans for that momey, the high end botique stuff you won't find in a Best Buy.
I may never know what the PSBs sound like now but I know these are worldclass and the store graciously matched the price of you know who.making it an irrirresistable deal. I have 50 hours on them now and they just keep sounding better and better!

How do you soak clothes in Washer Model WTW4800BQ?
The washer keeps dumping my soap and water after no activity for 10 minutes.
It is possible your drain hose is in to deep into the drain and getting a suction lock. Mine did this intermittently after Best Buy install.
