I purchase at least 5 laptops per year for extended family. This HP laptop has to be the slowest and poorest screen resolution of any laptop I have used in the last 3 years.
From a cold boot it takes approx. 6 minutes to boot up to where I can use Microsoft Office. The screen resolution is very poor, the Lenovo ideapad 100 with Celeron processor Best Buy sold for $199.00 performs much quicker and far better resolution than this i3 HP with identical software and boot items installed. The screen is sort of white on left side and then transforms to a dull amber color on the right side. The colors are very dull compared to the entry level Lenovo ideapad 110.
I have reset this HP to out of box state 3 times with the same results. Save your money for a different product.

Out of the box it performs better than expected. However I upgraded the RAM to 8 GB and installed an SSD, WOW this is a screamer. Upgrading the RAM and HD are extremely easy as there is a removable bottom panel (2 screws) then you slide the cover off. Could not be easier. The screen could have better resolution but for $299.00 on sale this deal could not be topped anywhere.

Works great with included Win 8.1, however have upgraded to Win 10 and there are problems with AMD video drivers. Still using Win 10 but will be switching back to Win 8.1 soon.

Bought as open box with mismatched battery and a few scratches. Silver battery and Black laptop. Upgraded to 16 GB memory and 480 SSD. Runs multiple Excel spread sheets and Power Point applications flawlessly, a real screamer. Paid $204.99 laptop, $44.00 8 GB memory and $160.00 480 SSD. Total investment $408.99

Will this work in a Satellite P755-S5320?
Will this fit my laptop? Does it come with a cable to transfer the contents and programs on my current hard drive? Does moving my programs affect my licensed products? Thanks!
No cable, any SATA ext. cable will work. Just installed it on Satellite P855-S5200. All my programs transferred complete with no problems.

can this model be upgraded to 4GB of RAM at the Best Buy Store?
2Gb RAM is rather small, the SSD will help but 4Gb would make this unit amazing!
No usable replaceable memory modules on board. Msata can be upgraded only.
