Great sound for small size speakers that handle up to 100 watts that don't take up too much room. They can sit on a shelf or table top or they can be mounted on a wall. Simple two tab connection in back.

Can these speakers go on poles to be used for karaoke

I would not recommend that. The speakers do come with (optional) plastic mounting brackets that hold the speaker up but you would then have to add some type of heavy duty clamp or double clamp and then clip them on a pole but even then the speakers are about 6 pounds each - so you would have to test and make sure that they are mounted in such a way so as not to tip over.

What are the dimensions of the speakers?

Each speaker is 11" wide by 4-1/8" high by 5" deep.

Does Bose 161 come with speaker wires included? How long are the wires ?

They do not come with speaker wire. They come only with wall mounting brackets if you wish to mount them. Speaker wire can be gotten at any hardware store by the foot.
