I purchsed this laptop when my old one up and died without warning. I went to BestBuy to see what was now on sale. I picked this one and I could not be more happy. The touch screen works great and the 6 gigs of memory along with the I3 is plenty for videos, Facebook and banking. The only thing this unit is not suited for is intensive gaming. At this price pont I think this is the best thing going.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My daughter's Mac Book Pro hard drive dropped. She needed for a project that she was working on. I watched a video online on how to swap out the drives. It was a piece of cake to swap them out. Best Buy had the drive in stock and the price was in line with other re sellers. The drive was installed and I re installed Mavericks and she was able to finish her project.

Yes its a standard 5200rpm laptop hard drive. If your computer uses a SATA drive you are good to go.
