Apple has taken an iPhone and deleted the phone to create this something more than just a MP3 player. effectively this is a pocket size iPad. A gift for my granddaughter she uses it for her music, e-mail, FaceTime, maps, etc. It is her constant companion and provides access to the Apple software world at a reasonable cost.

For less than $20 this is a good value. Purchased it for my garage to do quick car cleanup. Works great except the tool does not include a crevice tool and B&D does not offer one for this model. Packaging could have been more descriptive.

HDMI cables are expensive for no good reason. Prior to digital the analog signals required heavy cables. With the advent of digital there is minimal power used to connect devices and heavy cables are a waste of money. This light weight cable with its modest price gets the job done with no impact on signal quality when connecting my Apple TV to a 50 inch Samsung.

What's great about it: Reboots are a thing of the past.
What's not so great: Limited instructions.
Unit delivers as promised but the set up took over 4 hours. Help line was a disaster claiming problems were due to virus on my laptop and only they could fix for only $90. Doing a manual reset of the unit was necessary to complete the set up.

interface is identical to the iPhone and iPad. In fact the software and apps are identical. Touch the Home button and the iPod touch comes alive. Touch an app icon and the rest is intuitive. Enjoy.

a Comcast compatible modem
buying Comcast internet without their modem. Need a modem wireless, for hole house use
Forget replacing the modem if all you want WiFi. All you need is a wireless router. If you don't own a modem buy one of those to, keeping in mind the cable companies are increasing there speeds and many of the current modems won't be able to take advantage of those speeds. Combination modem and wireless routers are easier to hook up and cheaper but you live with the danger of obselesence.

Does this work with TWC
Thinking about getting my own modem instead of leasing
Great idea but be aware that TWC when providing faster speeds requires a different modem than currently in use.
