Will a M570 on a different computer interfere with mine?

I'm looking to replace an old corded trackball that is wearing out and have another person sitting about 15' away that already has one of these installed to his computer. If I add one to my computer will we be conflicting with each other?

will this one let you adjust the font for the print out?

I would assume the font would be whatever your setting is on your computer, that is where you would select the font, not the printer.
