Can this be installed as a 2nd hard drive to increase speed of laptop?
It would be best used as a primary drive so you can boot the OS off of it. Then you will notice a huge speed difference.

I have a Dell computer that we bought in 2005 it only has 256 GB of Ram need over 700 to update to windows 7 and to get McAfee new version can someone tell me what I need to buy!
Go to crucial.com and find your motherboard to see what RAM you need. Also you can bring the machine into a Best Buy and usually they will tell you which kind you need.
