This receiver has plenty of power for regular listening. The price is right. There are a lot of features which is convenient to use.

What speakers are recommended for this system

need surround speakers and need to know what is recommended. The speaker hook ups are the type that require strippable speaker wires
I use Pioneer and Polk Audio for the sub woofer and center channel.
