I had been hearing about the mobile battery packs but wasn't sure they were for me. When a Best Buy daily email featured the Insignia brand on sale at a really good price, I decided to go for it. Glad I did! I've used it several times when my iTouch battery was getting very low and it took care of the problem with ease. The Insignia pack is small and slips easily into my purse. Now, I go nowhere without it.

My almost 15 year old Sony was giving up the ghost. I just happened to catch this one on sale. WOW! Beautiful picture and good sound. Easy to set up and a bit bigger than the old Sony. I highly recommend this model!

This is a really great tower fan. I have it in my bedroom and it works well. It moves the air nicely, which really helps me sleep in the hot weather we've been having, and it's pretty quiet. The remote is a nice thing as it allows me to make any adjustments without having to get out of bed. I highly recommend it.

Ridley Scott directs the gripping war film Black Hawk Down. Columbia's work on this 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer is nothing short of perfect. Sporting solid black levels, even colors, and no defects or imperfections, fans should be very pleased with this Academy Award-winning film's transfer. The audio is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround in English, as well as Dolby 2.0 Surround in French. The 5.1 mix ends up being an assault on the viewer's senses; featuring hard-hitting directional effects and crystal-clear sound, this is an excellent soundtrack that should give home theaters a hefty workout. Also included on this disc are subtitles in English, French, Chinese, and Thai. Unfortunately, the supplements on this disc are close to the bare minimum, including a short on-the-set featurette that runs about 20 minutes and gives little insight into the making of the film, a few filmographies on the cast and crew, and theatrical trailers for the movies Spider-Man and The One (yet curiously nothing for Black Hawk Down).

This may not be everyone's cup of tea but I thought it was good. Very graphic and realistic, it followed the book quite well. The acting was good, as well.

The old micro was starting to fail (badly). I decided it was time to replace it and checked Best Buy online. Found this one an thought it would be perfect. It arrived very quickly and it is just perfect. Easy to use, easy to clean, a very fair price, and it works great. I'm really happy with it!

I haven't used the little handheld yet but the upright works great. I don't like bagless vacuums so this one is just what I wanted. It picks up well (including the pet hair) and is easy to move it around. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I love this! 1T of storage so it holds lots of stuff. It's small and very portable. It's very fast so no long waits to find something. I have all my stuff on my computer backed up on this and still have plenty of room to spare. I highly recommend it to anyone.

I just traded in my old Kindle with Special Offers to my new Kindle ereader. The new Kindle has so much more memory than the old one and the new one is all touch screen instead of buttons. It works well and my only complaint is finding a way to scroll through my books in the cloud faster that having to swipe one page of books at a time. When I have to look through almost 5000 books in the cloud, it becomes a bit tedious. Come on, Amazon. Come up with a solution!!

how do I load e-books from my pc?
I can get e-books from my library to my pc. how do I load them into my kindle with a usb cable(no wifi)?
Greg-Sideloading is really easy. Using the USB cable that came with your Kindle, plug the Kindle into your computer. When the Kindle icon appears on the computer screen, click on it to open. Then, click on Documents on the Kindle screen. You'll see all your Kindle books on your device there. Drag and drop your Kindle books (the ebooks must begin a Kindle format such as AZW or mobi.) from your PC to the documents screen. When you have moved all the books to the Documents window, eject the Kindle from your computer via the eject icon on the Kindle window. You should see you newly added books on your device immediately. If you don't see them where your downloaded books are, go up near the top right-side of the screen (on your Kindle home page) and click on All Items, then click on Docs to find your newly side loaded books.

GadgetMan-The ads are only on the screen saver and only show up when the Kindle is off or in sleep mode. I don't consider them intrusive at all.

How can I charge my new Kindel? How do I know when it needs charging? Didn't see a charger only a usb in the box.
Desk-You have to buy a charger separately. It's not included with the Kindle reader, only the Kindle Fire tablet. You can charge it by plugging it into your computer (your computer has to be turned on to charge your Kindle) but that takes awhile. If you use a generic charger, make sure it is the correct power levels=100-240V, 0.15A, 50-80 Hz Input, 5.0v,.085A output. You should be able to monitor your battery levels by looking at the top right on the screen. When you're reading, tap the upper part of the screen and you'll get a little toolbar. At the very top (in the dark strip) you'll see a battery icon. If the icon is all white, it's fully charged. If it's mostly black, it needs to be charged. If it's a combination of black and white, that will give you a good idea of how charged up your reader is.

How do you transfer books from old broken Kindle to new Kindle
Connect your new Kindle to WiFi and go through the steps to register it. Once you do that, go to settings and tap the sync option. Your Kindle will start loading all of your Kindle books in your Amazom library onto your Kindle cloud setting on your Kindle. Once it's done that, just go through your books under the cloud setting and tap on those you want on the ereader and they will download onto your Kindle. If you have any books on your old Kindle that you purchased from a source other than Amazon (in the Mobi or other Kindle formats) you can sideload those onto your Kindle by downloading the books to your computer, plugging your Kindle into your computer, open the Kindle window by clicking on the Kindle icon, clicking on documents, then drag and dropping the book into the documents on the Kindle window.

does this kindle operate immediately or do you have to go through a registration/set up process
Our last kindle did not work out of the box & our computer tech had to do the necessary setup. How can I avoid this with the new one?
The new Kindle has to be registered but as soon as you fire it up the first time, it takes you through the steps. You do need a WiFi connection to register it but it's a fast and very easy process. I had no problems with the initial registration with any of my Kindles. If you run into any trouble, contact Kindle Support at Amazon.com. They will talk you through it with no problem.

does the pearl e paper allow you to see the screen in the sunlight ?
I find it easy to read both indoors and outdoors with no problem.

Does this kindle have light in order to be able to read in the dark ?
No, the basic model does not have a back light. Check into the other models for that. I may be wrong but I think the paperweight model might have it. I use a little clip on light to read in the dark.

Does the Kindle come with a power adapter?
Hi. Is the power adapter included in the stated price?
Hin-Nope. That's a separate purchase. If you have another power adapter, make sure to read that tiny little pring on it to verify it has all the same power levels to work on your Kindle. My Nook Simple touch power adapter works fine with my Kindle Touch.
