Very good sound for both music and phone calls. Make it convenient for listening music and receiving phone calls while working out at the gym.
Was a great self indulgence for the money. one of my best purchases in some time.

Does this headset have a built-in FM radio that doesn't depend on the phone to operate?

No built-in radio it relies on the phone for the audio sources.
