Good price, plug & play (no software). Getting this webcam to work was extremely easy for me and I am pretty low tech. Images are pretty good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No. It has a USB cable to connect it to your computer.

Will another 3 ft usb cable work to extend cord to reach computer and I can mount on top of screen. The usb cable is not long enough (3ft) to mount on screen

Yes. I purchased a USB extension cable so it would be long enough to plug into the back of my computer and be mounted on top of my screen.
