The blue led lights are not that bright unless looking right down at them.
Thus the letters are not very distinguishable for a beginner.
This was for my 8 yr old who is learning to game and type so it's a little dim. Price was great, when he gets a little better he will get a better gaming keyboard. I have a regular keyboard for him for school work.
