My old washer (just a year old) was one of the defective washers that Samsung made. Decided to buy a new one rather than have a fix made on the old one. The new washer is very similar to what I replaced except for the addition of a prewash basket. So far I am happy with the replacement. Not happy that Samsung made a defective washer.

can you use tide pods in this machine
I see that there is a place to insert liquid. Can I throw a tide pod in with the laundry instead? they are HE pods.
I use the Tide pods in it and they work very well. Make sure you put the pod in before adding the clothes.
