The Otterbox has nice thick padding around all the edges to protect the glass screen and the entire phone. Unfortunately, it does not provide waterproofing. My only dislike is the little door to get to the charging connector. My previous case had a hinge and snap door, but this only has flexible rubber. I fear the rubber will tear after a few years; we shall see. It is also not as convenient to plug in the charger because of this.

Handy space saver, but if placed under the Keurig machine, makes machine too high to fully open top cover when under standard ANSI height kitchen cabinet. We put it under the toaster instead.

I bought this to clean a mobilehome I rented while working out of town. My daughter gave me 2 cloth upolstered chairs. She has 3 cats. The chairs were pretty hairy. I cleaned them up in less than a minute with this excellent vacuum.

What's great about it: survives on a key ring
What's not so great: no write protect switch
This is a very nice, all metal casing, USB flash memory drive. I chose it because the housing is all metal, and it has a nice big hole at one end so you can put it on a key ring or clip (like mountain climbers use). The metal case should survive being on a key ring in my pocket. I use these as boot keys for encrypted laptops, so it is natural to keep it on my key ring, as it is like the ignition key for the laptop. The only thing I wish it had is a write protect switch, so I could load it with the boot code image, then write protect it. The other features make it worthwhile anyway; I will just have to be careul and not over-write it, or I won't be able to boot the laptop.

What's great about it: 3 TB at 7200 RPM for a very good price.
What's not so great: Box is hard to open.
I run a backup server that eats big sata drives. I use these drives at the rate of one every month or two. After the drive is full, it goes to the safe deposit box at the bank for archival record. With that big a drive, speed is important to complete nightly backup runs quickly, before the day begins, and I backup about 20 GB per night. This is my first choice drive for this application. They run cool, are reliable, fast and inexpensive for the size and speed. I trust my business history to these drives.

Is this a "green" drive?
I'm hearing that "green" drives are not the best choice for your boot (main) drive due to their slower performance.
No! "Green" drives have adaptive speed control to minimize power consumption. Their max speed is also rather slow. This can be a good thing if you are running a huge disk farm, but do not need super speed, as reducing power consumption also reduces cooling requirements, but green drives are not fast drives. The Seagate Barracuda drives are 7200 RPM drives, so they are quite a bit faster than green drives, or 5400 RPM drives. Only 10,000 RPM Raptor drives are faster, and 15,000 RPM SCSI drives top the list. Of course, SSD (solid state drives) are the fastest, but we are talking about rotating magnetic storage drives here, not SSDs.
