What's great about it: Bracket mounts easily, TV hangs easily

What's not so great: ??

I've bought a couple of these now. The bracket mounts to the wall very easily and quickly. You'll need a stud finder. The TV brackets mount quickly to the TV and then the TV just hangs right on the wall bracket. Use two people for this to be safe. The TV can slide side-to-side so you don't have to worry about having the wall bracket exactly centered. Advice: Plan ahead with your wiring too. I bought one of those recessed power and AV outlets and that made for a much cleaner look. Hire an electrician if you need to. Also, they say to mount the TV centered at eye level, but mine's mounted about 3" from an 8' ceiling and I like it. We sit about 15 feet away.

Can this unit be mounted to a Brick Fireplace?

Yes. Just go by the hardware store and tell them what you're doing so they can provide the best bolts for you to use. I used 2 1/2" Tapcon screws for mine. Had to get some washers, too.
Also, be careful with the heat from your fireplace. TV's can get warm with regular use, but they can get VERY hot when another heat source is added.
