I r gently used my camera for a snorkeling trip and zip lining!! Couldn't ask for more. With all the cool functions I got pretty cool shots and videos!! It's a must have if you are and adventurer!!

When it comes to go pro you need an extra battery everywhere you go!! Make sure you get one of these and not stop recording at the middle of the ones that could be the best moments of your life!!!

Yes you can. I've been using it. And had no trouble. The quality of the images or videos are great. You should be fine with this in a go pro.
