I recently purchased a top of the line laptop that had no optical drive so I made this purchase to go with it. In many ways this is a much better way to go as there is less weight, the drive is easily replaceable, it is less expensive than built in Blu-ray (not an option for me anyway on my laptop). The big trend is to move away from optical drives but Blu-ray is a fantastic backup medium because of the capacity so I was glad I found this drive. It wont get used a lot, perhaps the reason for the trend.
I have used it a couple of times to do a backup (the laptop has a critical function so I needed a couple of backups) and I used this drive to store that backup. It was quite fast, in fact it exceeded my expectations.
Reliability. I have not had it long enough but I do trust Pioneer to make a great product. It will be put away most of the time so I expect it will not take any bumps or rough handling. Another advantage of an external drive. So I expect it to last a long time.
Price value. I know even today there are laptops that have the option of adding optical, usually not too expensive for DVD-R but Blu-ray can be quite expensive. This drive was not expensive so it makes a way more affordable option.
I would definitely recommend this product and I would make this purchase again.

I purchased this to replace another Mophie. This thing is better than my original and will connect to the phone by Bluetooth so that it's charge status can also be reported in a nifty app. It is also one of the fastest to charge I have seen. Good build and nice reliability. I will definitely buy another just to have in case of an emergency.

How hard is it to steal a TV?
Just had a TV installed with this mount. Is there an anti-theft mechanism, or do I need a separate cable for that? Just not sure if it's easy to detach, or if this mount has anti-theft built-in?
There is no anti-thef mechanism. If your TV has a place to mount an anti-theft cable you would be better off. It is way easy to remove the TV from the wall with this thing. Perhaps it is a good time to consider security cameras or a better place to live.

Can you tilt a 60" tv upwards to access ports?
It was still pretty tight behind my TV with the ports in a relatively common lower position. Worst case the TV could be lifted off the mount with a buddy, cables connected and it could be replaced. Mounting the TV on this thing was easy

Are the lag bolts included with the wall mount?
This is the one thing that I purchased separately because I wanted a better quality lag anyway. I believe there were lag screws in the package, there were tons of other screws for just about every option.
