Vizio made a great tv. My first tv from Vizio and I'm very pleased. Wifi connectivity is good also. Apps are easy to use. Sound and picture are good.

Using this antenna with the insignia converter box i also purchased from bestbuy. Does what its suppose to do. I picked up 48 channels and im quite pleased for not having a cable bill at the time.

If you dont want to pay for cable then this does the job. However an antenna that is not included is required to pickup a signal for this box to work. I picked up 48 channels and im quite pleased.

How does this antenna connect to tv

Just connect everything included straight to your television and the supplied dc adapter that powers the amplifier to electrical outlet. Nothing connects to incoming cable on the wall. Number of channels and reception will depend on positioning the antenna. Be aware that this will work best if on a window or wall close to window without obstructions. I have mine right on my window. Try a few times until you get the desirable channels you want. I have 25 channels but most are not to my interest. I basically purchased so I can get local broadcasts for football. Hope this helps.

Did anyone have trouble getting local channels?

We don't have NBC,
Yea I didn't have NBC either but after repositioning the antenna i was able to pick it up. Moving around the antenna can become quite the hassel cuz you end up losing another channel.

Currently I am paying a monthly fee for converter boxes through my cable provider, can I use these boxes in their place? I'm tired of the fees!

No u cannot. I tried to use instead on renting one from my cable provider and it does not work in its place.
