I already had one usb HDD device but ... what happened if something gets wrong while making a back-up ... remember those nasty ransomware ?
So, I decided to have 2 so I can alternate my backups. This way I am 100% covered as long as you remember to disconnect each drive after use ;) And 2TB is more then enough for a normal household ... especially when you compress the drive.
This is my 2nd Seagate HDD and I love them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Exactly what I wanted for a 32in TV and it is smart as a plus.
Easy to access MLB and YouTube ... easier than on my Samsung.

Does this model have Automatic Back Up?

It does come with a backup software ... But I prefer using my own.

Does this tv come with a remote? The picture shows a remote that looks like it just is used for the Roku. It doesn't have numbers...how do you change channels without having to go through them all? How do u go from channel 5 to 33 w/o scrolling thru all

Can I use it for storing and using my genealogy files?

I do genealogy research and want to know if I can put my family files here and work with them the same as on an internal drive? This would save a lot of flash drives.
Yes you can ... It acts like any other internal drives while connected.
