While cooking with the convection function ours flat out completely died.
What makes it even worse is all the garbage we had to go through to get a refund direct from Samsung. Yes you read that right.
We started a repair ticket online. But every time we hit the submit button - their website crashed (useless). So... I started a chat session, was told they would arrange in home service under warranty. Got a call the next day said our ticket was canceled!
Called customer svc, why was our ticket canceled - "Chat is not authorized to set up in home service". New ticket created was told someone would contact us within 48 hrs, and we would get an email with contact info.
Email shows Lakes Electronics with a Gainesville FL. address Googled the address - returns a UHaul/Self Storage facility. Googled Lakes Electronics - returns a company in Pompano Beach Fl. Only 260 miles from Ocala.
Called customer svc again. Told them what I had found and they had an error in their system. Again was told "someone will contact me within 48 hours".
Long story short - THERE IS NO COMPANY AVAILABLE TO DO IN HOME REPAIR FOR SAMSUNG APPLIANCES IN OCALA FLORIDA.
SAMSUNG GAVE US OUR MONEY BACK -- BUT ONLY AFTER REPEATED CALLS.
IF YOU LIVE IN OCALA FLORIDA DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE OF ANY KIND AND EXPECT TO HAVE WARRANTY REPAIR IN YOUR HOME. (OR FOR THAT MATTER ANYWHERE THAT YOU WOULD/COULD TAKE IT TO.)
IF YOU CURRENTLY ARE HAVING WARRANTY PCOVERED ROBLEMS - DO NOT HESITATE!!!! CALL SAMSUNG REPEATEDLY TILL YOU GET WHAT IS RIGHT.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This review is for the SanDisk - Ultra 128GB microSDXC Class 10 Memory Card - Gray/Red.
My wife and I purchased a pair of these cards during the 2015 Black Friday advertised sale at $39.99 each. At this price the product is a ridiculously great value (with limited expectations). If speed is your only concern you should probably look at something else, as this is clearly not the fastest card on the market. If high capacity is what you seek, then this is for you.
These cards come preformatted as exFat. Because of this, and strictly due to the limitations of our phones, the cards were not initially recognized. I was forced to reformat them as fat32. Note that Windows will only format these as NTFS or exFat, I had to use a third-party freeware utility to reformat to fat32 (in hindsight maybe I should have tried NTFS first). Also keep in mind that reformatting away from their native exFat will slow them even further. However, after reformatting they do function properly, and after a 5 hour copy process, our 90GB library of: 14,000+ songs, and 8500+ photos, is now entirely accessible on each of our phones, and we still have room to spare!
Are you kidding me! On sale price + these cards have room to spare + fast enough to record photos and video from our phones. What's not to love! If it's on sale, go for it, you won't be disappointed!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Compatibility problems

Has anyone had problems with this type of micro sd card working in an LG phone?
Initially these were not recognized by my phone - LG, L22C Power. These cards come preformatted as exFat. After I reformatted mine to fat32 they work fine in my phone. They may have worked reformatted as NTFS, but I went straight to fat32 (using a third party freeware utility).

HTC One M8

Are there any issues with using the card in a Verizon HTC One M8? I have some formatting issues previously with a 64 GB version of the card. I am interested in purchasing a replacement for my current 64 GB which has become corrupt.

Thanks,
We bought these for our LG L22C phones. Initially, our phones did not recognize the cards. These cards come preformatted as exFat. Due to our phone limitations, I reformatted them to fat32. After reformatting, these cards work with our phones and record video and photos with no problems (so far). Note: They may have worked formatted as NTFS, but I went straight to fat32. Windows will format these as exFat or NTFS, in order to reformat to fat32 you will need a to use a third-party utility available as freeware.

Read/write speeds

Other websites list this as having 30mb/s. Yet BB lists this as having 48mb/s. Which is it?
Everything really depends on what you want to use them for. All claims of speed by mfr's and retailers are questionable as marketing hype. My wife and I recently purchased these cards for our phones. We didn't really check the Read speed, but my initial Write testing using a USB3.0 card reader on my desktop system capped the write speed at about 30MBs. However, that 30MBs is ONLY with a single large (4GB) file being copied and written sequentially. Writing a large group (2000) of small files (average 5MB each) to these cards brings the write speed to a crawl. (Note: It took just over 5 hours to write 90GB of data (music & photos) to the cards.

Note: These cards come preformatted as exFat. Unfortunately, due to our phone limitations, we had to reformat them to fat32 (which slows them further). However, after reformatting, these cards work with our phones and record video and photos with no problems (so far).

In my experience over the last thirty years with computers and photography I have tried numerous mfr's cards. My favorite/recent/current fastest (but yet not ridiculously expensive) is the SanDisk, UHS-3, Extreme-Pro. Even when copying large groups of small files it maintains higher speeds. You will definitely pay more for them. So the question is - do you want speed (buy the Extreme-Pro), or do you want high capacity, at a low price (buy these)?

If you are a professional photographer shooting high speed (10fps) 20Mpx photos these are not the cards for you. But, if you are a pro you wouldn't be asking this question. So I am assuming you are the average user who wants a high capacity card, for a phone, or maybe point and shoot camera, I say go for it you won't be disappointed

Is the Card Only 48 MB sec Maximum Read / Write Speed

I see the specification list this card as 48 MB sec maximum Read and Write speed but the SanDisk website and this Model of the same card listed on Amazon; SanDisk Ultra 128GB Ultra Micro SDXC UHS-I/Class 10 Card with Adapter (SDSQUNC-128G-GN6MA) [Newest Version; have the specs as up to 90 MB sec Read / Write. What is the difference in the cards? Is this BestBuy Card UHS-3 and slower?
