What's great about it: apperance/capacity
What's not so great: No bad points yet
My previous APC/UPS lasted 10 years. It is still working. I needed greater capacity due to installation of a security system. I like the readouts this unit provides. I feel it will handle my present needs well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have a back-up generator for my office, however when power goes out and switches to the generator, my computer turns off and won't turn back.

So I can not access my computer remotely, will this keep the computer on without shutting down?
Yes, assuming two important things.
1. The demand you are putting on the unit.
The greater the demand, the shorter the duration.

2. Your back-up generator starts up within a couple of minutes.
Back-up generators are designed to start after a short delay, some are variable and are set for longer delays. Check your delay time and be sure it is set to start the generator before your UPS dies.
