Mounts stay on the snowboard helmet, but not the snowboard. Not sure if it's the surface of the snowboard, the force of the powder hitting the snowboard or the cold. Almost lost the GoPro, luckily daughter coming up behind saw it pop off. Experimental accessory....

Can I use this in my surfboard?
I want to know if this also stick in a surfboard and if they are resistant to water. I´m afraid my gopro goes away of my surfboard and loose it in the sea. Thank You.
I wouldn't, it popped off my snowboard, and luckily I was able to retrieve it from my daughter who saw it pop off. Difficult to find in powder; impossible in the ocean. Don't do it, get the accessory specific to surf boards.

Is it waterproof?
Son and daughter use in snow extensively. Seems to withstand the wet snow, haven't used under water yet.

how long is the pole?
How long is the pole? cant seem to find that info
About 20 inches. Not the typical selfie stick, no telescoping on this.
