For the price I had very low expectations, I was actually prepared to return these before even walking out of the store. When compared to other noise canceling headphones that averaged $200, how could these work, right? Well, I used these on a flight and they worked great. Of course, there wasn't total silence when switched on but there was a noticeable difference. Enough to allow me to arrive at my destination refreshed and not feeling drained from listening to the aircraft sounds the entire time. Worth it - try them and you'll believe you're ears.

Having owned several Rokus for the past 8 yrs, I thought it was time to try the streaming stick to clean up around my children's TVs. The stick allowed me to have a very clean wall installation by plugging the stick into the HDMI port and then getting power from the TV via the USB connector. I subscribe to Netflix, Hulu +, Vudu, and I use Time Warner for my cable and internet. Tip: if you have this Roku streaming stick, just add the Time Warner app and it streams a lot of channels to your TV in HD without using their cable box! You have access to the cable guide, live TV, on demand, and can save favorites, too. The only complaint I have is with the Time Warner app itself and not with the Roku. I can't get my local TV stations via the TWC app. Like I said, that has to do with the cable company and not this device. I bought two devices for my children's time and once I saw how robust it was I night another for my living room. So now we have 3 and we enjoy them tremendously.

How does the remote work with the stick behind the TV?

I'm concerned the remote won't work with the streaming stick plugged in behind the TV.
Is this a standard IR (infrared) remote that needs line of sight to work? (too much to ask for a Bluetooth remote)
I had the same concern, but once I installed the device I realized I had nothing to worry about after all. I'm not sure of the tech that makes it work but I do know that one it's paired with the stick in my kids room I can use it any where in the room with no problems. In my living room it works better than the Apple TV remote (truly line of sight) so the Apple TV has been retired. Hope this helps.
