What's great about it: Very easy to use, great balance, long life recharable battery, and cleans the hard surface floors well.
What's not so great: Nothing
Out of the box came together easily. The battery charge only took 45 minutes. The Dyson DC-56 cleaned the floor without cords getting in the way. The unit came with six trial wipes, two wipes in three packages. You can flip the wipe half way to finishing and use both sides. Loose dirt and cat hair was pulled up and deposited in the unit while the pad cleaned up spots and dros. My recommendation to you is to get it soon, you will not be disappointed. As usual Best Buy had the product first and at the best price!

I am concerned about moisture on wood floors. Is it safe? Don't like steam, is this steam less?

No steam, the pad has cleaner on it and is like s swifter. Dyson make special pads with cleaner for wood floors in addition to the general clearer pads for all floors.
