These speakers were a TOTAL surprise to me. When I first turned them on I knew I had something special, even if I'd paid twice as much for them. My wife has a set of Bose speakers that cost over $300 and the Klipsch are much better for about one-third the cost. If you love great sound, BUY THESE!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sure. It will connect through your headphone jack.

Can these speakers be wired to an older stereo

I have an older steel that uses speaker wire will these work?
You will need to buy a cable to convert from 1/8" to RCA. This system is really meant to connect to a computer. Sounds like you just need a set of speakers to connect to you amplifier.
