Steam irons well, but plate scratched

I haven't used this iron very much--have only had it a month. I like how well the steam works on the iron compared to my old iron, and it's fairly light and comfortable, which is one reason I bought it. I could hardly lift some irons I looked at. However, the bottom plate is already scratched! I'm very careful with using ironing cloths and not going over metal buttons/rivets, but after using only a couple of hours, the plate on the bottom has several scratches! I'm disappointed. I called the service number and they said it's under warranty for a year, so I can used it for quite awhile and if I'm still unhappy get it replaced. Another strange thing -- It is advised to use with regular tap water rather than distilled water, which is nice, but I only found the tap water suggestion under the troubleshooting section! Absolutely nothing appeared about that in the instructions for filling the water and using the steam features.

I've had trouble finding something the right size for my 15.6" laptop. Most cases are more for the smaller notebooks or are big and fat. I like how compact this case is. It doesn't take so much space in carry-on when I travel. I might have liked just 1/2 inch more in height/width dimensions, so it would be easier to slip computer in and a little more padding on bottom, but I cut a strip off the foam filler it came packed with and stuck in the bottom for a little more protection--works well. There's a zippered section on front for mouse pad/mouse/cord. A little tight but stuff does fit. Happened to see it online and it was available in my local store, so I ordered it. Had it within a day!

I bought this case to protect my iPhone when I first got it, while I hunted for a sturdier case online. I love this case so much that I'm not really looking for anything else. So many compliments on it! Many reviews complain about parts of it falling off or cracking, but I've had absolutely no trouble with it. I've had it a few months and it's still like new. Maybe I'm just lucky or maybe I'm just careful with it, but I've been very pleased. The little jewels make it easy to grip while I'm holding it.

What's great about it: Compact, holds tons of info
What's not so great: No lid, worry about dirt getting in
I love using flash drives for backing up files, especially pictures. I trust the SanDisk name, as I've used it for both memory cards and flash drives and I've never had a problem with one. They seem to be more reasonably priced, too, than some brands. This Cruzer slides out very easily and is quite thin, so it fits in places where the computer's USB ports are squished one on top of the other. I do worry a little about dirt getting inside because it doesn't have a lid, but maybe no lid is one less thing to lose.
This product has... Reliable, Fast, Attractive design/portable, Large capacity/good size
About me... Need a simple backup solution, want a portable device for carrying files

What's great about it: Very light weight, can be used vertically or horizontally, easy to hook up
What's not so great: Not the greatest reception, but it's out on a boat away from reception towers, so. . . .
We needed a small light-weight antenna for a TV on our boat and didn't want to have to deal with rabbit ears. This was very easy to plug in and use, and it can be set flat or mounted on a wall. The reception is generally good but is sometimes a little twitchy, probably because of the large boat next to us rather than the antenna itself. I'd recommend it, since it was much less expensive than other brands which may have the same reception problem.

Does this have a ring so that I can hook up with my key ring?
The package doesn't come with a ring, but there is a hole through the back corner so it looks like you could put a thin ring on it and hook it to your key ring.
