To have a single oven capable of converting to a dual oven with the insertion of a simple plate is a stroke of genius. In the space of a regular range this oven converts from one oven to two and back again just by removing or inserting a shelf. Yes it is more expensive but it is a feature we don't regret paying for,

Every Installation Should be done This Way!

The specialty installation of the dishwasher was accomplished over several hours. The installer, not a part of Best Buy, spent time well into the night to make sure everything was done right. When one of the hoses for another appliance was missing during the delivery, the installer returned the following morning to make sure everything was performing to our satisfaction and to complete the appliance installation.

in our other home, using a different brand, the dishwasher has a flat upper shelf which is very functional. This is the only feature missing form this excellent product. The Samsung dishwasher does an excellent job of cleaning everything. We have even trusted some rather delicate wine glasses to the upper rack and have had no issues. it is quiet and very efficient.

We had been using another brand in our other home but just some little things drove us to change to Samsung. We have no regrets. This 4th drawer is well worth it's weight in gold. It is just the right size and as a 4th drawer minimizes opening of the main refrigerator doors, thus saving energy. So far everything has been flawless.

If not cooking at two different temperatures, what's best?
If I am not cooking at two different temperatures, is it best to take out the divider and use the whole oven instead of using just one section? Or is it OK to normally use only one section? Also, if I do take out the divider to use the whole oven, does it matter which set of controls I use - upper or lower? Or do I need to set both upper and lower to the same settings?
Personally we keep the divider in. I sort of figure the smaller the area to heat, the more efficient the operation. It is okay to normally use the larger over but it will result in a slightly less economical operation.
With the divider out, use the upper controls. The left controls indicate that operation. Do not use both. unless the divider is in place.

Auto close freezer door
My owner's manual refers to the auto close freezer door. My freezer door takes a fair bit of force to close. Nowhere near auto close. Anyone else experiencing this?
I had the same concern and so when the installer was present, I showed him the "difficulty" in opening and closing the upper doors. That is actually by design. The force required to open and close, seals the doors better than the regenerators that "seal" themselves. I personally prefer this as another refrigerator we owned "self-sealed" and didn't do a very good job of sealing. For my money, I'll take the little extra force to assure a good seal.
