This was the best purchase I've made I. A long time. Fast, easy setup. I've saved so much money buy switching to amazon prime and Netflix. I have 2 other blue ray players that I can connect to my apps on. Whole set up was about 200 bucks but I was paying thatuch a month in cable bills. Highly recommend.

Got this blue ray as open box super low price. Was missing a cable but I didn't need it anyways. Easy to use and comes with Netflix and amazon and a whole bunch of other apps. Bought a roku too and now I can stream in all areas of my house. Love not having cable anymore. This is the way to go! Only complaint is the Netflix app sometimes won't load properly, not sure if that's the app or the player. And its slower than my roku but nothing to frown upon.

DOES ROKU 3 GET THE LOCAL CHANNELL? ... LIKE CBS, ABC, NBC etc.
No, but there is an app you can have a free trial with to watch local I believe. I honestly have not found a need for local channels anymore. I just look at local news websites anymore.
