What's great about it: Mobility, Ability to run all programs on a tablet sized machine, screen
What's not so great: Battery Life, Needs at least 1 more USB port
I was able to replace my laptop, iPad, and now my work PC with this one device. I never have to worry about which machine a certain file is on now when traveling, and most importantly to me I now carry only one device instead of a laptop and an iPad. The Surface is very fast, and handles every program I have used with ease. The battery life is shorter than a traditional tablet, but I have only noticed this a few times over the last month. Most of the time when using it off the battery I rarely need it for more than a few continuous hours, and it works well for this. When I travel I sometime forget to charge it as I am out of my normal cycle, and this is when I have noticed the shorter battery life. Though the typical day to day scenario is not an issue, because I plug it in while in the office and it has enough charge to be my tablet/laptop for the evening when I get home.
The graphics card is enough to handle multiple screens if you need this, and the the 64 GB of expandable sdxc space is perfect for my movies and music without taking up space on the hard drive.
All in all, this is a great multitasker.

Can Surface Pro run Quickbooks 2012 full version (not mobile)?

I do craft fairs and want to run my quickbooks and print my receipts live. Not with a mobile app requiring another monthly fee. Why is this so much to ask??!!
I don't use Quickbooks, but it will run any program that will run on Windows 7. In short, if it worked on Windows 7 it will work on the Surface Pro with Windows 8.
