We have been adding to our Sonos system and finally added the playbar. The sound is great and we are really enjoying the system!

Does this speaker only play music through the sonos app or can I connect to it with my iPhone and use Siri to play music through my phone?

You have to use the app, but you can access the music on your phone.

Will this unit work sitting on the floor?

Yes. Ours sits flat on the entertainment center. It wouldnt be any different on the floor.
