The power supply was easy to install and has a bunch of cable for future power and data expansion. just make sure you take a pic of the cable routing from your old power supply before disconnecting everything. You may get a little confused as to what to reconnect.

What's great about it: big display, ease of use
What's not so great: power cord design
This is my fifth tom tom purchase. Had my first tom tom one about 8 years ago, and fell in love since then. This was my latest purchase and it was a gift for my daughter who just got her driver's license. I needed the big display to minimize the distraction and this works like a charm. Voice guidance is very loud and clear. On very rare occasions the street names are pronounced a bit weird, but acceptable.
The interface is the same as my Via 1435TM, minus the bluetooth option. graphics are huge and this makes it easy to input locations or make selections. At startup the GPS signal can be a little hesitant, especially if its cloudy, but within the minute range.
The only issue I have is with the power/antenna cord, which doesn't give you an option to input an additional usb adapter; in other words, in order to have the traffic functions, you must use the manufacturer supplied car charger with the integrated power plug, which hogs the outlet, since it does not have a usb end. In future designs, I hope that Tom Tom integrates this antenna in the unit itself, and not make it part of the cord/charger.

Maps on MyTomTom
If I live in a different country, I need to buy the maps or may atualize it for free forever?
It depends on where you purchased the unit. If you purchased it in Brazil (which I assume is your country) Tom Tom would have provided the maps for your region. I purchased my Tom Tom units in the USA and they all came pre-loaded with maps of USA, Canada and Mexico, and if I wanted to travel in Europe, I had to purchase the European maps.
