I love my Kindle HDX. I really like how I can choose from a variety of colors to highlight text. I really enjoy reading books and emails on my kindle. I like watching movies on it too.

does the rear camera take videos too?

There is only a front facing camera so thete is no rear
facing video.

Does it offer the updated app that included photo editing and also the previous question - does it take rear facing photos?
It only has a front facing camera so no it does not take rear facing pictures.
