Check out the reviews and this was the best one for the money. Would have liked a wall mount for it.

Which model?

What are the differences between this model, the Quick Power, and the Express V6? I'm looking to finally replace a Dirt Devil I got back in the 1980s. Don't need a lot of bells and whistles, just good suction, easy to empty, and well made. Thank you!
Not sure of the differences but this unit does just what your looking for.

does it have an on-off switch, or is it a button that must be held down to power on?

It has an on and off switch. When I purchased I made sure it did.

Is the rechargeable battery covered by the manufacturer's warranty?
