Not impressed with Lenova flex 4. My first try I couldn't get it to connect to the internet. I finally shut it down and tried again and it connected but then nothing would load it would just set there trying to load. So I left the room for a while and came back it was still trying to load. I rebooted it and used the reset, but I never got it to consistently work. I tried my other computers and they all loaded web pages without any problems. I'm not a novice on computers I have several plus an ipad and a couple off brand tablets but I was wanting to purchase a 2 in 1 for my granddaughter. I gave up after three times trying to get the Lenova flex 4 to work and took it back. I don't want a laptop that's not consistent. If your going to spend money on it then it needs to work consistently. Lenova is not for me and I wouldn't buy another one, I don't have the time to troubleshoot a new computer that should work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Works great.
I always use APC at work and at home. I have several of these units and haven't had any problems with them. Would highly recommend them for any electronics that need protection.

What printer is compatable with this laptop?
I would think all the newer printers would be compatible. I've never had a problem with
connecting my existing printer to any of my laptops or computers. Just make certain it
(the printer) is wifi capable and you shouldn't have any problem. If it's not wifi capable
then you will need to use the cord which came with your printer in order to connect
to the laptop and the end of the cord should have a usb connection.

Im not a fan of Windows 10. Is it possible to get windows 7 with this?
Call Geek Squad at Bestbuy! I'm sure they could remove windows 10 and put in an earlier version. You can't go
to far back on windows software or you may loose some of the capabilities of the your computer and since Windows 7
is an older version there may be a problem with it as far as using the capabilities that your computer comes with.

When in Tablet mode is the keyboard disabled? If so, is it based on the degree of the screen rotation of a function on the keyboard? Is the mouse disabled or will it still work in tablet mode?
Yes the keyboard is disabled when in tablet mode. Yes it is based on the degree of screen rotation.
For instance if you open it and lay it flat on the table, meaning the screen is at the top, keyboard at the bottom
then the keyboard still operates the screen or you can use the touch screen if it has touchscreen capabilities. if you fold the screen all the way
back so the keyboard is behind the screen then the keyboard doesn't operate the screen.
The mouse I haven't tried. So I can't help you on that.

Protecting a Desktop PC
I am confused by the answer to a prior question which I copied below. I need to surge protect a desktop PC plus external drives, router etc., but also if there is a power outage I need enough battery backup to allow me to save files on my desktop PC and/or external drive and then close everything down. Will it do that ok? Isn't that what its for?

I have used APC battery backups for years. Yes it will work. This is how it works: plug your computer into the battery backup side of the APC, along with external drives, and router. The battery backup has rows of plugs one row is for surge protection only the other row is for battery backup + surges. The above items need plugged into the battery backup + surge side. When the electric goes off you have time to save any files that you may be working on and close them out along with any other programs you have running at the time and shut down your computer as you normally would. I've never had any problems with it shutting my computer down before I was able to save files and shut it down myself. So in answer to your question yes it will work. Just get a backup with enough outlets on the battery backup side to plug in the computer, external drives and router and you'll be set to go. The surge protector side will not keep your computer running while you shut things down. It only protects from surges.
