Purchased to read camera memory cards quicker than plugging the camera into the computer, but ended up using it to save a digital copy of music for use in the car. Works quick with no errors in saving, reading, or writing to memory cards.

Bought this to place a digital copy of my cd's onto a memory chip to play in the car. I put over 30 hours of music on it and it didn't make a dent in the available memory.

Being background deaf (i.e. if there is background noise I have a hard time hearing conversations). This helps and would have been 5* if it would go just a tad louder.

where do you plug the charger in?

on the end is a mini usb port that the charger plugs into. Takes less than 30 minutes from full dead to full charge plugged into a computer USB port.

Hi,
I am trying to search this product in Best Buy, but can't find:

Transcend P5 9-in-1 USB 2.0 Flash Memory Card Reader TS-RDP5K (Black) by Transcend

Is there any equally good alternative product which I can go and buy in the store?

Is it possible that I might get things in the store that aren't even listed on the website?

I purchased the Insignia NS-cr2021 it reads and writes Mini SD and SD cards. I've had no issues with it.

Compatible with Smart TV?

I have a smart TV and Samsung tablet SD card. I want to play movies I've downloaded to an SD card on the TV. Will this reader work on TV's?
It's likely if your smart TV has a USB port. I haven't tried it as I don't have a tv with a usb.

about caller name anounce

will it still announce caller by name when phone is in vibrate mode when bluetooth is connected
Mine hasn't announced the caller by name but that might be me not setting it up correctly. It does read unread texts as they cone in and says who they are from which is helpful when working out of the office on the road.

Is this device compatible with Samsung Galaxy S5?

Yes I'm using it with a Samsung Galaxy S5 and it works fine. Wish it was a bit louder though as I'm mostly deaf, but it has helped me hear the conversation and transmits my voice to the caller very well.
