I have ATT Internet and they do not like for you to use anything but an ATT modem and router together. They are phasing theirs out and you have to call them to get info to use any other. You have to get a password from ATT. They will tell you Netgear will not work with ATT but it does. They just want you to buy theirs. Works fine now that I got the password.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is it (Dual Band Wireless N600 Router with Built-in DSL Modem) compatible with Time Warner Cable Service

I was told by an ATT technician that came to my home that you have to call and get the password from them . If they ask why, just tell them you need the password. They don't like to but will give it to you.
This is if TWC is anything like ATT. Try it.
