can this modem be used with AT&T uverse?
This specific model does NOT have a phone input so NO ATT Uverse for this model. Motorola DOES have a different model with a phone input and you need to make sure it specifically states DSL compatible.

Does this subport 2 phone line?
have 2 phone lines to my CHARTER tv moden plus a wi/fi routor, will this replace the routor, and still allow 2 phone lines, or would i still need the charter modem
This specific model does NOT have any phone line support. Check the different models but I believe the others have only 1 phone input i,e. ATT-Uverse style modem. This specific model ONLY supports the cable connection.

Does this have a very strong wireless signal?
Can it transmit a good wireless signal for gaming, tablets, etc if placed discreetly in a closet, or should I get a router as well?
Signal strength seems quite sold. I have it in the living room and we get good signal strength even outside in the back farthest part of the lot. Bedroom in the back of the house is also quite well supported with a good signal strength. It should not be a problem in a closet.
