Both my husband and I wear hearing aids, and I, in particular, had difficulty understanding voices, especially news broadcasts. I decided to try to get some auxillary speakers. The nice salesperson said a soundbar would do the trick. I bought this one because it was the east expensive (!) and I knew would fit our 36" flat screen tv. I was able to set it up myself and get it working the first try! And I am a very senior lady with arthritic fingers. Sound is very good. Only complaint the remote is rather chinzy. It works well, but when mute is on there is no icon showing, also the remote is very small. And, of course, it is one more remote we need to operate the tv. I would definitely recommend this product.

I previously had a wireless mouse, but it was constantly needing battery changes, so got rid of it and got attached one. This new wireless one is great as it has an off switch! I've posted a note on my computer reminding me to turn it off when not using; what a great feature. Works well, too! Great value for the price.

This replaced a previous HP all-in-one, which I loved. This one is even more compact and I really like the wireless feature. I haven't used it to scan or do photos yet, but all printing and copying is perfect the first time. I like the touch-pad controls (although I didn't think I would.) Easy to set up and use. I am a senior with some computer skills.

Insignia 55" no sound
Will this sound bar produce sound or can it connected to Xfinity cable?
This sound bar will produce sound if you turn off your TV's audio. This can be done by going to the setup menu, audio, and there should be a place to turn it off. I did this with mine, and the soundbar sound is excellent.

sinc sound from my smart blueray DVD player??
I have an Insignia TV (not smart) with a smart blueray DVD player. I have the DVD player hooked up via an HDMI cable to my tv. I get sound from my TV fine when watching via my Directv cable box, however, when I use my blueray player, no sound will come through the sound bar.
I have clicked on every input method on the bar but still no sound.. anybody else have this problem or have a way to get sound from my DVD player??? I have also tried hooking up the red and white cables from my output on the TV to the sound bar and still nothing.

When using your dvd player, try turning off the tv sound by going to the menu and clicking on audio and turning off. Then the sound should come from the sound bar. I'm not sure this will solve your problem, but it's worth a try.

Bluetooth conection to TV
If I have a bluetooth enabled TV can I connect it that way instead of using optical cable. Specifically a Samsung model 7150
According to the instruction manual, no, you need the optical cable, which is not included in the packaging.

Insignia sound bar with UHD television
Hi - The volume on my Samsung UHD is somewhat low for movies and I want a sound bar. I do not want the darn subwoofer or anything. I just want to improve the quality of the sound. I see rave reviews for the insignia sound bar and am just wondering if it will work to improve sound on a UHD television.

I would ask the store personnel. I feel fairly certain the answer is yes, but we do not have an hd TV. This is really an inexpensive solution to boosting the sound quality and I think worth going to a store or calling and asking a technician.

why isn't it printing anything?
I replaced a cartridge & it sounds as if it's printing but the page is blank except it did print "make the most of your printer" page.
Go on to the HP diagnostic website, it is very helpful and probably will be able to "fix" the problem for you.
