I have some echos as well and find this to not only look better but to recognize regular speech better than the echos. There are also WAY less instances where it thinks it hears its wake word and proceeds to talk. This happened in the echo where I was watching a movie and there was nothing remotely sounding like Alexa or gun, but it chimes in and said “I’ve added a gun to your amazon wish list”. WTH indeed.
This still has a way to go but overall is a much better start than the echo has been. Sometimes it’s answer is too in depth and will explain for a minute when a short answer will work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Size for Strength, Waterproof
What's not so great: Price?
This is really the best case for kids, it really doesn't add that much bulk, and is waterproof.
When the case gets dirty I rinse it under the sink, with the iPad in it, which for me is priceless. While it is expensive, imagine having to replace a $400+ iPad vs $90 for the case. If you can find it on sale, that's just a bonus, but at full price it IS worth it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Size, Screen
What's not so great: Price, Only 16GB for the Price, Sound Kind of Weak
This is my 2nd Retina Mini, other is my 32GB. This is only 16GB, but for kids it is OK, I say OK because you can manage the 16GB, but they really should come with 32GB Minimum or have an SD slot. Games do add up kind of fast, and heaven forbid they have any movies on there!
That said it is the best, smoothest, fastest way to have a tablet for kids or adults. It works better than any tablet that I have tried which is 10+. It is durable with a lifeproof case on it, but I would want to push it giving a kid a raw naked iPad, yet alone any tablet. My kids use this more than the Leapad and the games are way cheaper on the ipad so in the long run I will get my money's worth here. The fact that I can facetime with my kids is pretty nice too.
This product is... responsive touch screen, lightning fast, Perfect for Business, A nice compact size, Sharp graphics, Easy to navigate, Great screen size, Comfortable to hold, easy to set up, Variety of apps available

What's great about it: easy setup, 1 power cable
What's not so great: Price, Weight
This is basically the best, most sleek way to get a mac. I have had numerous macbook pros and mini's, but this runs smoother and with less heat. I did have to change my speakers because this took up so much desk real estate. That said it was worth it, I have a monster monitor, and the ability to change the RAM (you can't in the 21.5 version). The monitor is very bright and the colors look good. The only downside is the built in speakers, which I am not using; and the high cost. It is also very heavy, but in a quality way.
It looks very nice on just about any desk but I went out and ordered an wall mounted desk from best buy by Prepac. Also a very solid unit, and the 27 inch takes up the entire main opening, making it look like it was custom made for it.
This product has... Premium quality mouse/keyboard combo, poor sound quality, Perfect for business, Easy to set up, A nice compact size, great picture quality, Lightning fast

Is the case an exact fit for the iPad mini retina which is .3mm thicker?

Yes, it does work no problem for mine. If you want to be certain it is for the mini retina make sure that it has the microphone hole in the back rear of the case towards the top, you will see it on your iPad if you want to be sure that it matches up
