I purchased this because I wanted a lager than 58" screen without paying thousands of dollars. I have a 58" plasma; its heavy as hell and hard to transport when moving; it generates heat like a 600 watt heater. I don't usually buy LG products but this projector, I think, was worth it. SD movies are distinguishable from Blu-ray; however, they are watchable. I will purchase BD from now on because they are so much better. This little projector has some built in features like mpeg and jpeg viewing; unfortunately a little menu pops up after every file which can be distracting. If you just want to watch movies and don't want to worry about lamp life, this projector will do a great job. Works best in zero light, although a grey screen will help in less than optimal lighting conditions. It has Wi-Fi and Wi-Di and much more. The only drawback is manual focus. I've had no problems with focus. Again, Blu-ray movies look fantastic. It has auto keystone. The manual suggests 100" maximum screen size; however, I've taken it larger without loss of quality. My PJ is about 12 feet from screen. My viewing distance is 15 feet. Screen size is about 108" diagonal. I'm very happy with it. I use headphones so I do not notice the built in fan. built in speakers are fine for the purpose they serve. They are not meant to serve as theater speakers. I did get the extended warranty.

OMG! This season is better than the last. It was over too quickly. Now I have to wait forever for the next season. Oh well it will give me a chance to review all the previous episodes. Dexter is making way too many mistakes!!!!!

Each season is as good or better than the last. Finally Rayland shoots someone and quick-draw it was, sweet! And the other guy really deserved it. Can't wait for season 4. I guess I'll have to order Deadwood in the meantime.

What got me interested in this series is the few quick-draw shoot-outs. But then they quit having them. Still the series is great and exciting to watch. I have the Blu-rays because they were on sale. The SD editions are just as great quality wise; maybe because I have a 58" plasma. With Blu-rays I can get 6 inches from the screen and count the pores on face close-ups. Can't wait for season 4

Can you adjust for distance from screen?
I need to zoom out, to fit on projection screen.

Your projector distance from the screen probably should not exceed 12 - 15 feet. Your projector should be at least 3 feet off the floor or 12 -24 inches down from the ceiling, upside down. Turn on auto keystone, off again, then on again and then use focus wheel to adjust focus. Auto keystone should not distort image. For best results, get a very high resolution photograph; put it on a usb drive; plug it into projector, open the high res photo and adjust focus. Works for me using 108" screen. Don't be afraid to explore the settings features. I disable trumotion and noise reduction as well as a few others. This is a great projector.

go to bestbuy.com and search for dvd player. You will be amazed. prices and descriptions and even reviews to help you weed out the bad ones. plus, free shipping!!!! I purchased a Sony blu-ray for less than 100 bucks. It's small and has ethernet as well as wireless lan.
