What's great about it: same as above
What's not so great: tad too small for laptop size, can slip off
love it, only problem have to be careful slips off if not careful. like power hookup to laptop instead of extra length of cord hooking to electric supply.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is it powered by USB, or do I plug it into the wall?

unit plugs directly into laptop USB port.
