I was so comfortable using Windows 7 on my Mac Pro through Bootcamp that I did not want to go through the ordeal of having to learn Windows 10. However, I realized I was so “behind the times” that I had to. And I am glad I did. Some of the material I had printed and bound into books at the printer had to have the font changed before they could print the material. For this reason alone, it was well worth the update. The 4 stars I gave it representes my difficulty in learning how to use it - many confusing changes until I learn how to use it.

I am an avid Apple (Mac) fan and have basically used nothing but that since my first computer in 1983 - one of the first Apple 2e double disk drive. Through the years I added a Windows computer due to the software availability that could not be purchased for a Mac. I found that it is essential to have Office for use with Windows.

I purchased this mixer for a Christmas gift for my daughter. She had mentioned wanting it but said it was much too expensive for me to consider. A perfect addition to my kitchen! I needed a freezer but had very little space for one. I was in Best Buy looking for something else and walked by this freezer. The clerk was there, 5 minutes later had purchased it and scheduled delivery. The price was great, as was the service. Best Buy - a great place to shop for many things - not just electronics!

I have a MacBook Pro and will use the WD 1TB to store files. I also want to know if I can store files from a PC.

I keep it in the small box it comes in - inside the plastic container with the cord that I need to use with it. There is no pouch. My unit says it is Passport for Mac. They may make them also for Windows. I use a back-up called Click-Free for Windows that is very easy to use and restore files when needed.

In what country are these manufactured in?
I bought one to send to my son in S. Korea and it is already packed up and I need to put on the package paperwork the country of manufacture and I don't want to reopen and reseal the package.
The package states that it is a product of Malaysia.
