Previously purchase a $19 antenna that appeared to not draw any HD signal at all. This new antenna works great.

Do large trees around your house pose a problem?

Trees will not affect signal, but digital signal is mostly "line-of-site", so walls and houses next door if between you and the broadcast antenna will. Mounting antenna higher is better.

Will reception worsen during high winds or storms?

Due to nature of antenna (digital air-wave), weather will not affect the quality of signal it provides.
