I have worked with Bluetooth since it first came out and pairing was an ordeal that required a degree in computer science. But this thing is great. Nothing stuck to my ear. No having to stretch my mouth so the other person can hear me. No need for wired headphones separately just to listen to music. I have had no complaints from people on the other end and no "What?" And having to repeat myself. Hands down the best Bluetooth product I have ever owned.

The screen cover pushes up and bubbles. You end up having to push down on the cover to touch the screen. It seems sturdy and I am sure it would withstand abuse but I could not get past the shield. Easier to put together than the Otter so that works in its favor.

The new cases are more designed for the pocket and the ballistic is no exception. It has the rubber protection without the stubborn fabric grabbing. It also has a smooth back and very light weight. I tried the Otter and found it too bulky. Then I tried the Patriot and found the screen cover annoying. The Ballistic is the perfect medium. It's not waterproof but will protect from drops (I know because I have already dropped my twice).

The iPad is a staple. I did not need the iPad Air but wanted an iPad I could use for some writing apps and reading. Being small with the A7 chip helps make my work so much easier. It is the best tablet I have owned and I have gone through Nooks, Fires, and Galaxy tablets with varying results. But I am keeping my iPad.

I must say that the monitor itself is excellent. The quality is full on HD. Keep to a respectable size keeps the desk from getting cluttered. The fault is in the LG driver software. On my Windows 8 laptop it's great. On my Windows 7 it's ok. On my Mac, let's say don't use the driver, let Apple configure it.
Sharp colors and blacks come through well. Only setup as monitor and do not run as going to a projector. The brightness fades in and out when you do.

The newest Sin City is out but this is the original. The first. The absolute best. Mickey Rourke is great and Jessica Alba is stunning. But the winner is the film. Great use of CGI and camera placement. The ultimate mix of light and dark. And the all inspiring use brilliant stories and crazy characters. Bravo.

What's great about it: Awesome story lines
What's not so great: DVD extras are boring
House was an underrated show at the beginning but grew in popularity. But the first three seasons are some of the best medical cases. As the series progressed, it became more involved in multiple character plots rather than House. But this did not change the overall show. The box set is the must have for any House fan. The extras are ok, the blooper reel was boring. Then again I bought it for the show.

What's great about it: Single cord headphones with a dynamic sound
What's not so great: Cord is too short. Though standard length it still lacks enough to get far.
Sennheiser makes excellent studio equipment and these are easily close to their top range models. The ear cuffs fit perfectly and isolate the music directly to the ears. The headphones are almost completely noise canceling with very little outside noise coming in. The bass is strong but not overpowering, though you can if you boost. At high volume the sound remains clear and at low volume the treble is still recognizable. For the price and style, these are excellent headphones.

What's great about it: Easy to use and allows for more channels than Apple TV. Runs fast and has a great N series wireless receiver.
What's not so great: The remote is limited and playing games is less fun than with Wii.
Considering the available streaming devices out there, it is hard pressed to find any one that will do what you want. The Roku is that box. I have Apple TV and I have used the Xbox but this box is just simple. More choices than Apple and better than all the advertisement from Microsoft on the Xbox. I don't need all the Skype and Facebook apps on a box and not be able to remove it and I don't want to buy everything from only Apple. The Roku is kinder. I choose what I want on the box and choose where to purchase. I have Hulu, Amazon Prime, and dozens more channels. Picture quality is great and is the best streaming device I have owned so far.

Distance from device
What is the maximum distance from my device (iPhone 4s) and the Bluetooth headset will still receive incoming calls?
I have been able to take calls from the den with my phone in my office. That's about 30 feet and two walls and a long hallway. I have left the phone inside and walked into the yard with the dog. Again the distance was about 30'. I might be able to stretch that but that is what I have done so far.
