I am an avid GoPro user; matter of fact, I have five of them (ranging from Hero 2 to Hero 3 Black). The ActionCam on the other hand really surprised me and in a good way. I absolutely love the image stabilization feature on the Sony; something that GoPro seriously lacks. The image quality and ease of use surprised me as well. The colors are brighter and more vivid than that of the GoPro. The draw back that I have with the Sony is the "water resistant/waterproof" case. Mine didn't handle a submerged water test and although Sony sent me another case, I doubt that I'll trust it in anything other than rain or 'accidental' contact. Plus the audio is not up to par for my liking; it's too muddy. All in all, if you want to get wet, go GoPro; if you want a vivid / stable video, go ActionCam.

transfer yo dvd

how easy to transgfer to dvd
It's a MP4 file format, so if you are using a DVD authoring program or something like Nero/Ashampoo, you'll be fine.
