The Seagate drive is plug and play, with loads of storage. I love the sleek size - you can take it with you anywhere. It has instructions, but one thing that could be improved is the instructions themselves for those of us not too up-to-date on our terminology.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was looking for an adaptor to go between my iPad and iPhone to a micro USB hotspot. I was pleased that this unit was white, and looked like it was made specifically for my all white Apple products. It worked with both my iPad and iPhone, perfectly.

Our family enjoys coffee together. We have had favorite blends in the past for conventional coffee makers. Then Keurig was invented.
We now prefer Keurig, and as connoisseurs, our favorite is Green Mountain breakfast blend. It is rich and smooth.

Migrating a PC to a Mac

I want to purchase this drive to download my hard drive contents from the PC for upload to the MAC. Does this drive support both or only Mac?
It supports Mac OS X 10.7 or higher and Windows 8, and Windows 7.

If you are wanting to use the Lyve software that comes as an add-on, you will need Mac OS X 10.9 or higher, and Android 4.1 or higher. It doesn't say that the Lyve software works with Windows.

It plugs in via USB 2.0 or USB 3.0

will this work on an old G4 panther

I need to back up the G4 just for safety while I setup a new iMac 3.1GHz. I purchased this at an Apple store.
I don't know what OS your G4 has, but this Seagate Slim will work with Mac OS X 10.7 or higher. If you want to use the Lyve software that comes with it, you need Mac OS X 10.9 or higher.
It connects via USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 - just plug and play.

Mac OSX 10.75...

is this external hard drive with USB connections....compatible with my mac? I was told to ask if it uses the 'old' USB connection or the 'new' USB connection. My Mack is about 4-5 years old.
It states on the box that it uses both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0
I hope that helps.
